Sam is a graduate of Q.U.T acting school in Australia. He played Kane Phillips on Home and Away for many years. Other network shows include Headland, All Saints and Wonderland. In addition to his tv and theatre work as an actor, he also worked as a scriptwriter, script-editor, storyliner and director.
He then moved to Ireland and expanded his career into writing, directing and Producing. Sam is the Chief Creative Officer of Tri Moon Films and is developing a slate of Screen Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen backed projects.
He recently co-produced the feature film, ‘You’ll Never Believe Who’s Dead’ and and produced the TV series Northern Lights with Lionsgate, Deadpan and Potemkino for TG4 and ZDF.
He was the Drama Development Executive for RTÉ where he was across their development slate and shows in production like Smother, North Sea Connection, Hidden Assets and Storyland. Sam was the script producer and a director for RTÉ’s, Fair City, and the inhouse Story Editor for the animation company JAM media.
