Lynda Gough voiced Mother Father Deaf RTE.

Lynda has worked in theatre, film and T.V since leaving drama college 25 years ago. Her work has taken her on many Irish and international tours.

From Lady Sneerwell in School for Scandal which toured the U.A.E to Kenya with the Performance Corporation where she worked in collaboration with the Armani’s people’s theatre in Nairobi. Lynda also swam her way into the role of “Ursula” the Sea Witch in Big Telly’s water extravaganza of “The little Mermaid touring N.I. and Taiwan. She has also performed in three Gaiety pantomimes. Most recently Robinson Crusoe playing “Mona Marley the Magical Mermaid”.

TV work has included ‘Chrisso’ in Fair City, Kilinaskully Christmas Special, ‘Tina’ in Red Rock. Lynda played Jacynta in the Irish comedy film ‘Happy Ever Afters.

Theatre credits include ‘Fat’ in Enda Walshe’s Suckin Dublin (Abbey Theatre), The House of Bernarda Alba by Lorca (Abbey Theatre), The Only True history of Lizzie Finn by Sebastian Barry (Abbey Theatre), Widow Quinn in The Playboy of the Western Road (Big Telly Theatre Company), Candide and the 7 Deadly Sins by Jo Mangan and the Performance Corporation, Mother Ireland in Michael Collins the Musical, The All Star Wars both by Bryan Flynn.

Lynda has toured with the one woman play Shirley Valentine and The Memory of Water playing Vi directed by Ben Barnes and just finished shooting on Valhalla.

Lynda has just completed film work on a Production up North. Details to be announced soon and recently performed in Eoin Lynch’s production of Bonbons for Seen and Heard.
